The DRONTEX Conference aims to create a professional platform for sharing experience and information among experts in unmanned aerial systems, state representatives and NGOs in order to support the development of drone economy in Slovakia.
Our Association, Mám Dron, is fully aware of the enormous potential of unmanned aerial technologies and their deployment in numerous industries and services. Abroad, this topic strongly resonates across various professional international and local conferences and trade fairs, as a sign of the current rapid development of the domain.
Slovakia still lacking this type of event, we believe that the DRONTEX Conference will fill this gap and offer room for communication and cooperation of professionals in production, distribution and services related to UAVs.

The development of the near-limitless possibilities offered by unmanned aerial technologies incontestably leads to the necessity of a safe and standardized integration of manned and unmanned aviation. Complex harmonization and connection of the management of both types of operations is an absolute necessity from the point of view of safety.
Marek Náhlik
R-SYS, s.r.o.
Finding a suitable take-off and landing location can sometimes be challenging. As a drone pilot myself, it inspired me to find ideas to improve the safety of UAV flights and their operational deployment, and so the DRON-PORT project came to life.
Ondřej Vaňek
City Air Mobility, s.r.o.
Drones/UAS have helped closed a gap in the market for activities where a view from above is necessary. However, many applications would still benefit from their use if it became more economically efficient.
A better endurance, both in terms of flight time and data acquisition and processing, would allow us to deploy UAS in a wide range of industrial applications where they have lacked efficiency until now.
Jozef Rodina
Airvolute, s.r.o.
Until now, Slovakia lacked a professional event on development of unmanned aerial technologies and their use in industry and services. We believe that the DRONTEX Conference will fill in the gap, and offer the room for professional discussions and cooperation within this domain.
Rastislav Sopko
The Mám Dron Association
I am delighted to see that Slovakia is gradually opening up to the potential brought by unmanned aerial technologies to the everyday life and business. Therefore, I consider the DRONTEX 2022 to be an important step in this process, and hope this event to become an annual tradition.
Ivan Bella
Conference Ambassador
UAS have an enormous untapped potential, and at the same time pose a clear security risk. A strong and fast response from the authorities of each state is required to allow a safe and effective integration into their airspace. Let's not wait, integrate!

MEDIA PARTNERS
Zaujímavé a alarmujúce informácie ohľadom bezpečnosti vzdušného priestoru prezentoval vo svojom vstupe Štefan Dusza z Letových prevádzkových služieb SR. Týkali sa letov dronov v zóne riadeného letiska Bratislava, z ktorých, podľa zverejnených informácií, je väčšina z nich v rozpore s platnou slovenskou legislatívou.
The DRONTEX conference partner Aerobits will offer its direct remote identification modules to the other conference partners. These modules enable the identification and tracking of drones in real time in compliance with the new EASA standards. At the same time, they will obtain data that will help improve the functionality of these devices.
When looking for a suitable place for our conference, we at the Mám Dron Association considered several options. However, when we met at the Elektrárňa Piešťany building, it became almost instantaneously clear that the event would take place here. On top having the suitable capacity, location and layout, this venue has something that many others do not have: a unique atmosphere.
Our Mám Dron Association is extremely grateful that Mr. Ivan Bella, one of the most outstanding personalities of Slovak aviation, accepted our offer to become the ambassador of the first conference on drones DRONTEX. We appreciate his support and trust, and we believe that with his help, the topic of unmanned aerial vehicles and their importance for aviation will attract more general and professional attention.
By train or bus
Elektrárňa is located approximately 100 m from the Piešťany Main Station.
By car
A dedicated parking is available for the conference participants nearby the Piešťany Main Station.
Orientation signage and dedicated personnel will be available at the Main Station for your convenience.
