Maria Algar Ruiz obtained her Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from ETSIA (Madrid) and ENSICA (Toulouse). She completed her postgraduate Master's degree in Fluid Dynamics at the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium. First working as a project engineer at the CERN research institute and the Airbus company, she later joined the Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in 2006, holding various roles. Since the beginning of 2019, she has been the main manager of the EASA Drones Programme and reports directly to the EASA Executive Director.

György Blazsovszký's interest in drones are a symbiosis of his personal and professional passions. György is a PPL(A) license holder and a member of Blaszo Airways. After graduating from the Budapest University of Technology, he worked at Nokia Hungary as a Senior Laboratory Engineer, later promoted to Principal Engineer and Technical Manager, and then worked as a R&D team leader as a Senior Software Test Engineer. His education and experience led him to accept a position at HungaroControl in 2016 as a Telecommunication Systems Design Engineer.

Rastislav Sopko had been working for a long time in trade and marketing in managerial positions, especially in the field of energy. He is also active in ecological endeavours through several platforms. He has been appointed the President of the Mám Dron Association since the beginning of 2022.

He founded his first company as a 23-year-old student at the Department of Quality Management, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Slovak University of Technology. During his studies, he started working on project management. After a brief time in the corporate world, he decided to devote himself fully to his business. Together with their partners, they started several technological and non-technological projects, many of which grew into functioning companies. Within these companies, he was mainly engaged in strategic management and business development. He sees enormous potential and room for the development of new devices for industrial use in the field of drones.

Ing. Tomáš Korbeľ, PhD is an expert in the fields of Road Transport and Engineering, who mainly focuses on the analysis of traffic accidents and the assessment of the technical condition of road vehicles. He leads the expert organization Automotive Solution4u, p. r. o., where he also is in charge of the performance of expert work. He is a member of the board of directors of the Slovak section of the European Association for Research and Analysis of Traffic Accidents - EVU Slovakia and is also a member of the board of the Association of Road Transport Experts of the Slovak Republic.

Maj. Ing. Vincent Holubiczky, PhD currently works as an assistant professor at the Department of European Integrated Border Management of the Police Force Academy in Bratislava. He actively participates in teaching subjects in the field of Safety Sciences, publishes articles, and is a member of interdepartmental working groups on personal data protection and unmanned aerial vehicles. He co-organizes domestic and foreign conferences on issues of security sciences.

RNDr. Peter Fabo, PhD studied experimental physics at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Comenius University in Bratislava, and currently works at Faculty of Special Technology in the field of applied physics with a focus on research and development of sensors, technologies for non-destructive testing, programming and implementation of microcontrollers in data collection and processing systems. He is the co-author of several patents, utility models and published in domestic and foreign magazines. He participated in several projects focused on applied research in the field of environmental technologies that were led in practical cooperation with the industry.

Lukáš Brchl is the CEO and co-founder of Dronetag, a manufacturer of devices for the remote identification of drones. He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he still contributes to research programs in machine vision. The Remote ID regulations being continuously updated, Lukáš also actively cooperates with the ASTM and ASD-STAN standardization communities. His passion, besides drones and basic hardware, covers a wide range of space technology and software development.

Silvia Špinderová, M.Sc. completed her undergraduate studies in Bank Management, followed by her obtaining a Master of Science degree in Corporate Finance and Controlling. Moreover, she is a certificated expert in Project Management, and has a vast experience in measuring corporate assets, controlling, project management, and corporate social media marketing. Ms. Špinderová currently works as a finance specialist for private and corporate finances in the company SWELL Financial Group a.s., and is actively involved in education programme for long-term financial portfolio management.

Vladimír Foltín is professionally involved in aviation over 25 years. He joined EASA in 2011 after years of work for ANS in Slovakia. He started in the technical support of AIS, later worked as ATCO and instructor. In parallel he led various ATM developments. He concluded this experience as the senior representative responsible for safety management.
Vladimir now works in the GA and VTOL department of EASA certification. He manages certification projects or contributes to other workstreams with ATM expertise. Prior to that he led standardisation teams in ATM or supported ATM developments. In 2016 he was seconded to the Slovak Presidency of the EU Council to chair the Council’s working group for aviation.

Brig. Gen. (ret.) Ing. Ivan Bella undoubtedly is one of the greatest personalities of aviation, not only in Slovakia. After studying at the SNP Military Aviation School in Košice, he became a fighter pilot in 1983. On March 23, 1998, he went to Star City near Moscow, where he began training for a space flight. In 1998, he became a member of the French-Russian-Slovak crew of the 27th expedition on the Mir orbital station. Later he worked as a military attaché at the Slovak Embassy in Moscow and since 2013 as a military attaché at the embassy in Kyiv. In 2021, he worked in the Aviation and Maritime Investigation Office of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic.

Ing. Matej Oros graduated from the Department of Geodesy and Cartography at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Slovak University of Technology. After completing his studies in 2014, he joined Geotronics Slovakia, s.r.o., where he is in charge of sales and support for 3D technologies and UAV systems. He specifically deals with terrestrial and UAV laser scanning - LiDAR, aerial photogrammetry, 4D monitoring, and related data processing software. Matej is a certified UAV pilot. He regularly participates in workshops and conferences at the international level.

Capt. Mgr. Anton Sedlák works as a rescue specialist at the Training Center of the Mountain Rescue Service. Already during his studies, he devoted himself to the methods of remote sensing of the mountain environment in the Tatras, the Alps and Svalbard. Since 2017, the Mountain Rescue Service has been developing the use of UAV in Search and Rescue activities in the mountains. He considers unmanned aerial vehicles a great benefit in the monitoring of mountain areas and mapping of snow cover in order to issue avalanche danger levels and warnings for mountain visitors.

Ing. Pavol Pecho, PhD works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Air Transport, where he completed his doctorate in the field of vibrodiagnostics of propulsion units and systems. His research spans across sever fields of interest, namely construction, operations and the deployment of UAV in special applications.

Marcel Košta studied law at the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava, where he also completed his postgraduate studies at the Institute of International Relations and Comparative Law. Koen De Vos joined the European Commission in 1993, where he focused on social and employment issues. He previously worked at the University of Antwerp and the Higher Institute for Labor Studies in Leuven, Belgium. Since 2015, Koen has served as the Commission's leading expert on drones. Before turning to UAV, he dealt with airport noise issues and was a member of the Single European Sky team from 2002 to 2009. Koen De Vos terminated his employment with the European Commission in April 2020 and currently works at the Global UTM Association as Secretary General.

Dr. Milan Rollo is the Technical Director at AgentFly Technologies, s.r.o. He specializes in unmanned aerial vehicles, their flight trajectory planning, navigation and localization. He also is a researcher working on several projects financed by the EU, from the budgetary resources of the Czech Republic and by the defense agencies of the United States. Dr. Rollo is a member of NATO NIAG SG-205 and EUROCAE WG-105 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) working groups.

Martin Saska completed his Master's studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, and his doctoral studies at the Julius-Maximilians Universität Würzburg in Germany. Ing. Jan Bednář is a graduate of Cybernetics and Robotics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (FEL ČVUT). He currently works for Fly4Future where he is in charge of development and sales of autonomous drones designed, among others, for industrial research and development. Moreover, he participates in research in visual odometry and 3D modelling as a member of the Multi-Robotics Group at the Department of Cybernetics at FEL ČVUT.

Maj. Ing. Marek Šubín works as a leading specialist and platoon commander in the Fire Department of Bratislava. He has over 26 years of experience in dealing with various types of emergencies, and is at the same time the leader of a specialized team focused on floods as a part of the EU civil protection international aid mechanism. An enthusiast and certified UAV pilot, he has also many years of experience using UAVs in the Fire and Rescue Service.

JUDr. Štefan Dusza, MBA has been working in the field of civil aviation for more than 6 years. He started his career in 2016 as a legal advisor for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic (ÚCL). During his tenure at ÚCL, he notably devoted himself to i.a. the project of digitization and automation of applications for the issuance of reliability checks, civil aviation passenger complaints, implementation of current legislation and administrative procedures in the field of UAS. He joined LPS SR š.p. in 2019 as a specialist in international law in the field of civil aviation law. He currently works as head of the unmanned aerial systems department, where he mainly deals with the issue of UAS integration into the Slovak airspace.

Maj. Ing. Mário Malatinec currently works at the Flight Safety Department at the Air Force Headquarters of the Slovak Armed Forces. In 2000, he completed his studies at the SNP Military Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš, Faculty of Air Defense. Since 2016 he has been holding the position of Civil Aviation Officer at Sliač Airport, and has been working in his current position since 2019. In 2019, he completed the Inter-European Aviation Safety Program Management course at Kapun Air Station, Germany.

Ing. Jozef Rodina, PhD. has been specializing in the field of autonomous flying robotic/unmanned systems for over 10 years. He graduated from FEI STU, where he also received a doctorate in robotic systems control. At FEI STU, he created a new curriculum in Flying Robotic Systems, and founded its associated laboratory. He is a founding member of the National Robotics Center and co-founder of Airvolute, s. r. o.. The company is dedicated to the development of autonomous UAV and control systems for autonomous vehicles, which are used for various types of autonomous applications by global UAV manufacturers.

Milan Uhrič works as IT Director for Eastern Europe in an international logistics company. In 2021, he founded and is also the chairman of the civil association Záchranný Systém Slovensko, which is dedicated to the search for missing persons and assistance in emergency situations.
