Maria Algar Ruiz holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from ETSIA (Madrid) and ENSICA (Toulouse). She obtained her postgraduate Master’s degree in Fluid Dynamics from the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium. After her studies, she worked as a Project Engineer at the CERN Research Institute and at Airbus. She joined the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in 2006 holding various positions. In the beginning of 2019, she was appointed as the EASA Drone Programme Manager directly reporting to the EASA Executive Director.

Brig.Gen. (ret.) Ing. Ivan Bella is undoubtedly one of the greatest personalities not only of the Slovak Air Force. After studying at the SNP Military Aviation College in Košice, he became a fighter pilot in 1983. On March 23, 1998, he left for the Star City near Moscow, where he began to prepare for his space flight. In 1998, he became a member of the French-Russian-Slovak crew of the 27th expedition to the Mir orbital station. Later, he served as a military attaché at the Slovak Embassy in Moscow, and since 2013 as a military attaché at the Embassy in Kyiv. In 2021, he worked in the Aeronautical and Naval Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic.

Rafał Paprocki  – Head of Unmanned Traffic Management Projects Department in Polish Air Navigation Services Agency is responsible for development of the PansaUTM system and U-space concept within polish airspace. Fan of digitalisation, new technologies and unmanned world. Licenced drone pilot (VLOS/BVLOS). He merges his interest in UAV technology with everyday duties.

Ing. Igor Kajan is a graduate of FEM SPU, a certified UAV pilot, and Chief Operating Officer of UAVIS, s.r.o. He participated in several projects focused on the collection and analysis of multispectral data and the development of geoanalytical tools for processing of data collected from remote sensing. In his current role as a COO of UAVIS, he oversees the company activities in the sales of drones, aerial works, mobile mapping, brokerage of remote sensing data, and consultancy in the field of processing, assessment and visualization of drone and satellite data.

After graduation from Military Air Force Academy in Košice, Tomáš Schóber started his military career as the GCI controller in CRC in Zvolen. Later, he moved to (continued to) Flight Training Department of the Air Force HQ, where he was responsible (in charge) for national and international exercises, cooperation with foreign armed forces, as well as with ATC entities. After leaving the Armed forces, he worked as project manager and solution architect. At present, he works at R-Sys company as a product manager

Luboš Šrámek joined Schiebel Aircraft GmbH in 2018 and is in charge of the CAMCOPTER® S-100 Unmanned Air System sales in Europe. Owning an Aerospace Engineering Degree, he has more than 20-years of experience in the Aerospace and Defence industry (Safran, Aero Vodochody, Honeywell), mainly in Project Management as well as Sales and Business Development roles. He also served in the French Air Force as a reserve officer.

Ákos Haramia founded his first company as a 23-year-old student of STU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Quality Management. During his studies he started to work in project management. After a short trial of working in the corporate world, he decided to fully dedicate himself to his business. He and his partners started several technology and non-technology projects, several of which grew into functioning companies. Within these companies, he was mainly involved in strategic management and business development. He sees huge potential and scope for the development of new devices for industrial use in the drone industry.

Ing. Tomáš Korbeľ, PhD is an expert in the field of Road Transport and Mechanical Engineering, and concentrates mainly on the analysis of traffic accidents and the assessment of the technical condition of road vehicles. He leads the expert organization Automotive Solution4u, s. r. o., where he is also a certified domain expert. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Slovak section of the European Association for Research and Analysis of Traffic Accidents – EVU Slovakia, and a member of the Presidency of the Association of Road Transport Experts of the Slovak Republic.

György Blazsovszky’s interest in drones combines his personal and professional passions. György holds a PPL-A license and is a member of Blaszo Airways. After graduating from Budapest University of Technology, he worked at Nokia Hungary as a Senior Laboratory Engineer, later promoted to Principal Engineer and Technical Manager, and then worked as a team leader in R&D as a Senior Software Test Engineer. His education and experience led him to accept a position at HungaroControl in 2016 as a Telecom Systems Design Engineer.

Ing. Vladimír Pšenák, PhD. plays a key role in the management of the Slovak technology company M2M Solutions, where he is COO. His many years of experience in innovation enable the company to discover new approaches and possibilities in logistics and warehouse solutions and to respond flexibly to dynamic changes in the technological environment. His passion for space, visionary approach and analytical thinking have played a big role in the expansion of M2M Solutions’ product portfolio into the space industry.

Vladimír Foltín has been professionally involved in aviation for more than 25 years. He started his career working for an ANSP in Slovakia, first as an AIS technical support, later as an ATCO and instructor, and a leader of various ATM development projects. His experience in the ANSP culminated into a position of a senior safety management official

Vladimir now works in the GA and VTOL certification department of EASA. He manages certification projects and shares his ATM experience with other working groups. In 2016, during Slovak Republic presidency of the EU Council, he was appointed as a chairperson of the EU Council working group for aviation.

Ján Mečiar is a popular TV JOJ presenter with many years of experience in the media environment. Thanks to his interest in technological and innovative topics, he accepted the invitation to be a presenter at the DRONTEX 2023 conference.

Rafał Słoń is a Business Development Manager at a Polish company Aerobits. Rafał emphasizes the importance of UAV identification technology in enhancing the airspace safety, and the development of the drone industry. Aerobits has developed and distributes external modules for Direct Remote Identification of drones.

Gergely Ellenrieder works in the company Aeriu where he is responsible for sales, marketing and operations.He gained six years of experience in the field of agile development, five years in the IT sector and one year in production. Gergely has an extensive professional network in industrial software and automation business in the CEE region. In the past five years of his career at Aeriu, he developed a solution to improve the inventory process using drones. Thanks to quadcopters, the warehouse personnel are able to perform stock-taking in a better, safer and faster manner than by most commonly used methods.

Miroslav Štaubr is a managing partner in the company AirView s.r.o., and an active UAV pilot. His responsibilities include sales, marketing and human resources in AirView. Moreover, he is actively involved in development of the AVAG application.

Ján Čerňan is an aviation consultant and project manager at Egis (until 2020 known as Helios Technology Ltd.). Previously, he worked on projects for the European Commission, Air Navigation Service Providers, and airports in the United Kingdom including London Heathrow and London Gatwick. Since 2020, Ján has been working mainly on projects for the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) focused on EGNSS (Galileo), EGNOS and Copernicus in the context of aviation and unmanned aircraft operations. Ján is an author of several blogs focused on current challenges in the area of drones, and a co-author of a white paper on the future of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) – Skycities, skyways, skytaxis: dream or destiny?

Vladimír Kulpa graduated from the Department of Electronic Systems at the Academy of Armed Forces of Gen. Gen. Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš. In 2010 – 2022, he worked as an anti-aircraft air defense system technician, and commander of unmanned aircraft systems operators in the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. From 2022, he is a lecturer at the Simulation Center in the Training Organization for Unmanned Aircraft Systems  operators under the Academy of the Armed Forces in Liptovský Mikuláš, and at the same time an external PhD student of the academy.

Nuri has been working for DB Schenker Global Ventures and Innovation for more than 5 years. As Head of Early-stage Innovation & Lab he is responsible for the analysis, evaluation, development, and integration of new solutions in the area of Logistics and Digitalization, such as drones. Nuri leads the DB Schenker Enterprise Lab together with the Fraunhofer IML and ISST and also owns the program lead for Schenker’s drone cooperation with Volocopter.

In this function he steers different streams like the integration of drones into supply chains, their marketing, and logistics services for Volocopter. The acquisition and management of public funding also falls under his responsibility.
Nuri has worked in the field of innovation and strategy for different organizations for more than 10 years and holds a PhD from RWTH Aachen University in the field of innovation and sustainability.

Dr. Martin Saska received his Master’s degree at Czech Technical University in Prague in 2005, and his PhD degree at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, within the PhD programme of Elite Network of Bavaria in 2009. Since 2009, he has been a research fellow at Czech Technical University in Prague, where he founded and leads the Multi-robot Systems lab (http://mrs.felk.cvut.cz/), and co-founded the Center for Robotics and Autonomous Systems that currebtly cooperates with more than 70 researchers in robotics (https://robotics.fel.cvut.cz/cras/). He was a visiting scholar at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA in 2008, and at University of Pennsylvania, USA in 2012, 2014 and 2016, where he worked with Vijay Kumar’s group within GRASP lab. He is an author or a co-author of more than 150 publications in peer-reviewed conferences with multiple Best Paper awards, and more than 50 publications in impacted journals including IJRR, AURO, JFR, ASC, EJC, with over 5500 citations indexed by Scholar and H-index 41. Koen de Vos made his career at the European Commission (1993 – 2020). After ten years of social affairs, he worked for the European air traffic management unit (Single European Sky 2002-2009) and, between 2009 and 2013, on environmental aviation issues, including noise around airports. He has been involved in the European drone policy since 2013 and became in 2015 senior drone expert, working in close collaboration with EASA, SESAR and Eurocontrol. Koen joined GUTMA in April 2021.

Ing. Marek Náhlik has been the Executive Director of R-SYS, s.r.o. since 2007. Currently, he divides his time between tasks related to the management of the company and development projects, and creating new initiatives for the development of the company’s product portfolio. Management and control systems for manned and unmanned operations, which have been already deployed in several European countries, are part of the solutions developed and marketed by the company.

Konrad Cioch is a Chief Business Development Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Aerobits, Poland. Konrad has been involved for more than four years in developing a national drone tracking system with the support of local UTM partners (PANSA, Droniq, Unifly, R-SYS). Aerobits has developed and distributes external modules for Direct Remote Identification of drones.

Ing. Jozef Tóth has been for many years professionally engaged in the operation, inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment. He is, among other things, currently responsible for diagnosing the state of equipment and all activities related to environmental protection and interventions n the company Východoslovenská distribučná, a.s. . He has been involved in the UAS domain since 2016. As a part of directly controlled activities within the company, he initiated the standardized use of UAS in checking the condition of high voltage power lines, in diagnostics to check the heating of current connections, in vegetation management processes, but also in installation of bird flight deflectors on power lines.

Ing. Marek Růžek  is an active UAV pilot, a  head of development team, and a managing partner in the company AirView. His responsibilities include hardware and software technology solutions. Moreover, he is actively involved in development of the AVAG application.

Heiko Nissen completed his Engineer studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Flensburg. He started his professional career as a Product Manager in Communications Monitoring department of Siemens Defense Electronics in 1996.  Over the last 25 years he held different management positions in different companies, always working closely with government security organizations. As the Area Sales Manager Eastern Europe, Heiko provides with his Rohde & Schwarz organization advanced Radio Monitoring solutions to government organizations and private companies.

Matúš Grega was born in 1981. Currently, he works as the Head of the Simulation Center of the Academy of the Armed Forces of Gen. Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš. He graduated in Informatization and Automation of Command and Control Systems in Aviation at the Military Aviation Academy in Košice. He co-founded the Joint Combat Training Center in Lešt, and worked there from 2006 to 2010. Since April 2010, he has been a member of the Simulation Center, where he deals with synthetic simulation tools and their applications in education and training. In 2016, he defended his doctoral thesis on national and international security. He is an author and a co-author of a number of scientific and specialised articles, textbooks and studies on modeling and simulations, security and crisis management. He is an active member in the Science and Technology Organization of NATO in the Modeling and Simulation group panel.

Jiří Zachardala is a graduate of the Czech Technical University’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He obtained his background through extensive work experience in IT management with a foundation in software engineering and IT infrastructure. With over 15+ years of experience, he progressed through various industries to eventually establish UDX, where he harnessed his expertise and shifted towards the development and delivery of projects in the aerospace industry. Jaroslav Řešátko is the CEO of TELINK, which he founded in 1997.
Based on education in the field of telecommunications, and experience in the development and serial production of RC models, in 2010 the company TELINK began to specialize in the construction of drones.
Nowadays, Telink is the importer of the DJI brand for the Czech and Slovak Republics in the Enterprise segment. Furthermore, Telink is providing different kinds of drone modifications and runs a flight school for drone pilots.
Jaroslav Řešátko applies his creative abilities in the search for new ways of using drones and is introducing drones into state organizations and companies.
He is the co-author of the book DRONES, which was first published in 2017. Since then, the fourth version has been published. The book is a textbook for drone operators, it is used by customers, but also by high schools and universities.

JUDr. Štefan Dusza, MBA has been working in the field of civil aviation for more than seven years. He started his career in 2016 as a legal advisor for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic (ÚCL). During his tenure at ÚCL, he notably devoted himself to i.a. the project of digitization and automation of processes in civil aviation. He joined LPS SR š.p. in 2019 as an expert in international law with focus on civil aviation. He currently works as head of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems department with his main focus being UAS integration into the Slovak airspace and use of UAS in civil aviation.

Rastislav Sopko has long been involved in sales and marketing in managerial positions, mainly in the energy sector. He is also active in environmental issues through several platforms. He has been working as a Director of the Mám Dron Association since the beginning of 2022.

Jozef Soták was the driving force behind the birth of the first 18-hole championship golf course in Slovakia – Gray Bear Tále, and the 9-hole Little Bear Academy. He has been playing golf for over two decades, and was part of the Slovak Golf Association as a coach, referee and a high school and university teacher. In 2013, he was awarded the title Professional of the Year by the Czech Professional Golf Association. He is currently the CEO of Tále as that manages golf courses, ski lifts, hotels and restaurants.

Adam Broš has been working in the company Západoslovenská distribučná , a.s  for eight years, currently holding the position of the Head of the High Voltage Operations team with his area of responsibility being all Western Slovakia. He is responsible for deployment and efficient use of UAV in work processes.

Maj. Ing. Mário Malatinec graduated in 2000 from the SNP Military Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš, Faculty of Air Defence. Since 2016 he has been working as a Civil Aviation Officer at Sliač Airport, and since 2019 at the Flight Safety Department of the Air Force Headquarters of the Air Force of the Slovak Republic. In 2019 he completed the Inter-European Aviation Safety Program Management course at Kapun Air Station, Germany.

Robert Fintak – CEO of Terra Hexen. President of the Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems since 2022. Expert in drone security and counter UAV. MBA graduate of Kozminski University, the European Academy of Diplomacy and the National Defense Academy,  PhD student at the Lodz University of Technology, Faculty of Management.  Drone security expert in the working group at the Government Security Center.  In 2014 he was awarded the title of VIP graduate of the University of Lodz. Stephan Kraschansky is a former electronic warfare officer of the Austrian Armed Forces. In his military career, he had the chance to be the commanding officer of the first and only Austrian counter UAS element. He was responsible for more than 200 cUAS missions within the Austrian Armed forces at home and abroad. In 2022 Stephan Kraschansky quitted the active service and became the head of AARONIA Austria, a dedicated military and law-enforcement spin off of AARONIA AG Germany. Within the short time of only one year Aaronia Austria, has already been the solely contractor for counter UAS at the G20 summit in Indonesia 2022. Above that he is responsible for one of the most modern cUAS training centres around the globe – located at LOAV Airport in the vicinity of Vienna. Ing. Radek Hodač – has been working in the ANS CR for over thirteen years. He started his career in 2009 and during the following years led national and international projects as a Project manager or worked in the AIM domain as a Quality Manager. Since 2020, he has been working as Head of the UAS Integration office, where he is responsible for the development and implementation UTM systems and U-space concept within Czech airspace.

Ing. Martin Jančo founded and manages M2M Solutions, a Slovak technology company focused on the support of supply chain management, logistics and production processes. Currently, he is mainly involved in new product development and innovations in the field of mobility and production. He is also involved in a number of activities that contribute to solving R&D challenges.
He serves as a member of the Government Council for Science, Technology and Innovation, a member of the Presidium and an industry representative in the Smart Mobility Association of Slovakia and at the same time as a visionary for the Smart Mobility domain. For his significant contribution in building the smart industry ecosystem, including the smart mobility and space sector, he was awarded in 2021 in the category of Science and Technology Personality.
